Infrastructure built from experience, not theory.
Working in IT since 1986 across enterprise, multinational and multi-site environments in Portugal and abroad. My background spans infrastructure architecture, Linux and Microsoft systems, identity management, virtualization, datacenters, networking, cybersecurity, SOC operations and technical consultancy.
I am particularly effective in cross-platform environments, moving between Linux, Windows, VMware, Proxmox and networking rather than operating within a single technology silo. International delivery includes large-scale infrastructure transition work in Germany, alongside ongoing independent infrastructure and consultancy work since 2015.

Large-Scale Systems Transition
15-month international FTE assignment from Capgemini Portugal to Capgemini Germany, supporting a systems transition involving approximately 800 servers across three datacenters. Cross-platform delivery across Linux, Windows and VMware in an organization normally structured around separate specialist teams.
Enterprise Identity Management
Reitoria da Universidade de Lisboa Campus Metadirectory / IDM implementation, organized and delivered with Novell Portugal. Multiple directory integrations and Novell IDM drivers in an environment serving more than 18,000 identities.
SAP Infrastructure on Linux
SumolCompal SUSE for SAP infrastructure based on SLES 11 SP3, KVM virtualization on Cisco Blade systems and more than 40 Linux servers.
Enterprise Virtualized Platform
Corporate portal infrastructure using Windows Server, BizTalk, CRM, FIM, Exchange, SharePoint, TMG, Lync and SQL Server on a five-node VMware ESX cluster implemented as part of the project.
Datacenter & Virtualization Delivery
Physical datacenter migrations, P2V projects, VMware platforms, blade infrastructure and storage, including 19+ physical servers migrated to ESX and a separate Dell Blade / VMware environment for approximately 40 servers.
SOC, Security & Observability
Current work spanning SOC operations, SIEM/XDR/EDR, Wazuh, TheHive, Graylog, vulnerability management, Microsoft security, observability, containers and automation.

Crucix Intelligence Integration
Public read-only demonstration of the open-source Crucix intelligence platform, published through an isolated Cloudflare Tunnel and integrated into the Tech.Wired.Brains.dev engineering lab.
Crucix is a third-party open-source project. Tech.Wired.Brains. documents the deployment, isolation and integration architecture; the upstream software is maintained by its original authors.
